Hi, I’m Abigail — the face behind Canny Conny Dog Walks and also the owner of Abigail Thompson Photography, where I specialise in pet portraiture. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, from Cairn Terriers and a Shar-Pei growing up, to now being “dog mam” to Sunny, my lively Cocker Spaniel, who inspired the branding for this venture.
Your dog’s safety and happiness are my top priority. I’m fully insured with specialist dog walking cover, DBS checked (on the Update Service), and trained in Pet First Aid, with further training underway to make sure I provide the best possible care.
I offer safe, reliable walks tailored to your dog’s needs — whether that’s an energetic adventure or a gentle stroll. Fresh water is always carried, dogs are cleaned and dried after wet walks, and routes are chosen with your dog’s comfort and safety in mind. Walks can be one-to-one or with dogs from the same household, depending on what suits your pet best.

1-to-1 & Household Walks: All walks are either solo walks or with dogs from the same household. This ensures your pets receive my full care, attention, and a consistent routine at every visit — I don’t mix groups, keeping your dog safe, comfortable, and happy.
Key Holder Service: If required, I can securely hold a key to give you flexibility and peace of mind when you can’t be home.
Free Meet & Greet: To help you decide if I’m the right fit, I offer free, no-obligation meet & greet appointments.
Limited Spaces: To maintain high-quality, personalised care, availability is intentionally limited. Early booking is recommended to secure your preferred times.
