Over the years, I’ve completed a range of professional courses to refine my skills, and I’m fully insured and DBS checked. I specialise in portraits, family moments, and pets, taking a relaxed, documentary-style approach that captures moments as they naturally unfold. That said, I’m equally happy to provide posed or styled shots when desired. Every person, pet, and family has a unique story, and I tailor each session so your individuality truly shines through. My goal is to create images that are authentic, timeless, and personal.

I bring the studio to you - whether that’s your home, a favourite outdoor spot, or even a local community venue. I also run seasonal mini-sessions at craft fairs and church halls, so there’s always an opportunity to get professional images close to home.

Why I Love Photography
My passion started young — at six years old, I picked up my grandad’s camera at a family event and went around photographing everyone. A few years later, with my own camera, I’d spend hours on dog walks capturing textures in nature. In my teenage years, photography became a form of expression, which eventually led me to pursue a degree. That same curiosity still drives me today: every session is about capturing authentic, meaningful moments, and it’s always an honour to be part of my clients’ stories.

Do you travel outside of Consett?
Yes! I’m based in Consett but travel throughout the North East, covering County Durham and the surrounding areas. If you’d like me to come further afield for a special session, just let me know and we can discuss travel arrangements.
Do you bring equipment to the shoot?
Absolutely! I bring everything needed for a professional session, including my camera, a range of lenses, and portable lighting. I also have backdrop stands with a variety of backdrops to choose from, plus a wide selection of props — from chairs and cars to seasonal items for Christmas, Halloween, and Easter. This way, your shoot can be as simple or as creative as you’d like.
What should we wear for a session?
Comfortable clothes you love and feel good in. I can give tips on colour palettes and outfits that photograph beautifully.
How long does a photoshoot take?
The length of a photoshoot depends on the package you choose. Most sessions last around 1–2 hours, but larger events such as weddings can be up to 8 hours (or more if needed). I’ll always discuss timings with you in advance so everything feels relaxed and unhurried.
Do you offer prints or digital images?
Yes! All sessions include high-quality digital files for you to download and share. I also offer a range of professional print options as an add-on, so you can choose the perfect way to display your images at home or give them as gifts.
How soon will we receive our photos?
For smaller sessions (1–2 hours), galleries are usually delivered within 5 working days. For larger jobs and events, turnaround is typically within 15 working days. I always keep you updated and aim to deliver as quickly as possible without compromising on quality.
