I'm Abigail, the sole owner and photographer at Abigail Thompson Photography, I am a professional photographer based in Consett, County Durham and have completed many courses in my field including graduating with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Photography.

I am very passionate about my work and strive to capture the beauty of life from behind the lens. I specialise primarily in portraiture with a documentary photography approach. My preference when photographing is to capture events as they happen as opposed to staging shots, however, I am more than happy to do this when required. I love telling the story of my subject, everyone is unique and the service I offer is tailored around each individual client.
